As a non-profit organization, Langley Skating Club is run and managed by a group of volunteers: the LSC board and skaters' parents. Volunteer work is essential to the quality and success of our club, and to your child's experience here. Prior experience is not required. Volunteering in the Club is a great opportunity to learn about figure skating, understand how the club runs, meet other members, and have fun while helping out.

Volunteer Options

1. Volunteer with Refundable Deposit:

   Complete and document the specified volunteer hours by May 15, 2025, to avoid being charged the Volunteer bond. At registration, check the option for installment payments to ensure the bond is invoiced for May 15, 2025.

2. Volunteer Opt-Out Payment:

   Choose the Volunteer Fee/Opt-Out option to pay the full amount of the volunteer bond during registration.

Note: Each credit is worth $25. Partial payment will be collected at the end of the Spring 2025 season if full hours are not completed.

Notifications will be sent via email when volunteers are needed. Tasks are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Ensure you log completed tasks/hours in the Volunteer Hours Log.
